I would recommend a strong brew of nettle and rosemary tea in place of the water, or use rosemary oil if you don’t have the herb. They are both great for hair follicles. But just not using commercial shampoo and conditioner will help repair the scalp.

Folks, if you don’t like the smell of apple cider vinegar for a rinse, then get citric acid powder and dissolve in water well. But do know that you can dilute the apple cider vinegar a lot, and even add a bit of essential oil to it. I’ve apple cider vinegar rinse for years instead of conditioner, you get used to the smell and grow to like it. It does dissipate as your hair dries. The apple cider vinegar will have added benefits over the citric acid.

I tried this and it came out feeling tacky. Like squeaky clean, waterproof, rubbery on the skin. I cant figure out why. I cured 4 weeks and followed the recipe & video.

For those wanting to use soap calc to tailor your soap batch size, this is 5% superfat, 30% water, 50% Shea Butter, 30% Coconut Oil, 20% Olive Oil.

I used to used egg yolk to wash my hair for many years and did wondered for my scalp and hair. I've gone back to shampoo in recent years and it's been terrible for my hair.. So I may just go back to the eggs, or try this recipe out. Thanks.

I made a Simple PRUNE soap today. Didn’t have my stick blender with me so hand mixing it was! But it looks great can’t wait to try it out. I use prune puree from Gerber Naturals baby food! I wanted a super simple 2 oil, Prune additive soap. Sea Salt Soap!
